Hello Strasburg Indians!

My name is Scott Andrews and I'm excited to start the 25-26 school year.  This is my 4th year in Strasburg and my 10th year, overall in education.  Strasburg High School has been amazing to me thus far, and I want to leave a legacy at Strasburg for years to come.  There have been so many students and staff members who have come through Strasburg High School and gone to do incredible things!  We are proud of everyone associated with Strasburg High School.    

The Strasburg Story (Community Driven Strategic Plan) is a continuous guide to every decision we make.  Engaged, supported and prepared students; valuing, inspiring, and empowering staff; and optimizing our collective vision through partnerships.  This year, I've also implemented a culture team, that is diving into our culture and what we want to be true about Strasburg High School.  We spent time over the summer, attending conferences and planning to ensure that students and staff feel the Strasburg culture. 

A little bit about me.  I have a daughter who is a Freshman in high school at SHS, and a son who is in 5th grade at SES.  My wife and I have been married for 18 years and we have 2 dogs and 1 cat.  We love to be outdoors camping in the mountains, riding our atvs, and fishing.  We also love Saturdays during football season where we can watch college football all day and Sundays, where we can watch NFL.      

I would love to chat with you about how things are going at the high school or any concerns you have.  Please make sure you make an appointment with Tobi Whitehead at the main office, as this year, my role is to be in classrooms evaluating, coaching, and encouraging teachers and students!  That is extremely important to me, and I want to value their time as well.
