Principal

Hello Strasburg Indians!

My name is Scott Andrews and I’m excited to announce that I’m entering into my second year as Principal at Strasburg High School.  I am entering into my third year at Strasburg High School.  My first year was as Assistant Principal.  There are many exciting things that are happening this year, starting with the beautiful construction in the commons area, the new STEM lab, library construction, and the amazing concession stand/ticket booth and bathrooms.  As if that wasn’t enough, Winter Field got new home bleachers, and a new pressbox.  Strasburg High School has been amazing to me thus far, and I want to leave a legacy at Strasburg for years to come.  There have been so many students and staff members who have come through Strasburg High School and gone to do incredible things!  We are proud of everyone associated with Strasburg High School.  

We’ve grown our administration team to include Mrs. Dickens as the Assistant Principal and Mr. Bongard as the Dean of Students.  We are working together on new roles and ways to support and encourage our students and staff.  The Strasburg Story (Community Driven Strategic Plan) is guiding every decision we make.  Engaged, supported and prepared students; valuing, inspiring, and empowering staff; and optimizing our collective vision through partnerships.   

I would love to chat with you about how things are going at the high school or any concerns you have.  Please make sure you make an appointment with Tobi Whitehead at the main office, as this year, my role is to be in classrooms evaluating, coaching, and encouraging teachers and students!  That is extremely important to me, and I want to value their time as well.
