Hello Strasburg Community!

I am thrilled to join Strasburg High School as your new Assistant Principal. Having the opportunity to serve this incredible community, support our dedicated staff, and work alongside our brilliant students is a true honor.

Background & Experience

I grew up and began my teaching career in Ohio, but my journey in education has taken me across the country. As a Social Studies teacher by trade, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students in Ohio, Florida, and Texas before making Colorado home. Most recently, I spent the last three years at Ponderosa High School.

Alongside my work in the classroom and administration, athletics have always been a cornerstone of my career—I have coached lacrosse for 23 consecutive years! That time on the field has deeply shaped how I view mentorship, teamwork, and student development.

Educational Philosophy

I believe that every student deserves an environment where they feel seen, supported, and challenged to reach their fullest potential. High school is a pivotal time for discovering passions, building resilience, and preparing for whatever path comes next. My goal as Assistant Principal is to foster a safe, inclusive, and enthusiastic school culture where academic excellence and personal growth go hand in hand.

Beyond the Classroom

When I’m not at school, you can still find me coaching club lacrosse in Denver, working out, playing  golf and traveling whenever I get the chance.

My door is always open to students, parents, and community members. Whether you have a question, an idea, or just want to say hello, please don't hesitate to reach out. Let’s make it a fantastic year!
